More than 250 young players are involved in teams across various age groups

Alicante, 19 April.— The Alicante-based property developer Alibuilding has signed an agreement with Club Atlético Montemar to sponsor the club’s youth football programme for the next two seasons. The agreement allows the Alicante-based company, part of the Aligrupo holding company, to collaborate in the development of various activities for the 250 young players competing in different categories during the 2026/2027 and 2027/2028 seasons.

Club Atlético Montemar is a leading institution in the world of sport with a history linked to the city of Alicante since 1931. Currently, the youth football programme comprises teams ranging from the youngest age group up to the youth level.

The agreement was formalised with the signatures of Aligrupo’s CEO, Daniel Torregrosa; Alibuilding’s Managing Director, José Antonio Izquierdo; and the head of youth football at Club Atlético Montemar, Juan Manuel Niñoles.

Aligrupo’s CEO, Daniel Torregrosa, explained that this new commitment to grassroots sport “is a further gesture of support for the younger generation, for whom playing team sports is vital to the personal development of our young people”. For his part, Izquierdo stated that “for Alibuilding, it is a source of pride to be linked to an organisation such as Montemar, which reinforces our commitment to our city, our region and the society in which we were born, are growing up and are developing our business project”.

Alibuilding has various partnership agreements with several teams in the city of Alicante that foster and promote football from the under-10s through to the youth teams. Currently, Alibuilding partners with CF, Playas de Alicante CF and FC Arena Alicante. Furthermore, Alibuilding is also an official sponsor of the first team at Hércules CF and supports the youth teams and their academy.
