Alibuilding completes the sale of Velázquez 23, the first project in Madrid of the Alicante developer

The developer closes 100% of the sales of the eight homes in the historic Jorge Juan 23 Velázquez building and the commercial premises


Alicante, June 13.- The Alibuilding developer, belonging to the Aligrupo business holding, has completed the sale process of its Velázquez 23 development, located in the exclusive Salamanca neighborhood and which represents the complete closing of the first real estate transaction carried out in Madrid. by the Alicante company. In recent weeks, the sale of the last two available apartments in this historic building from 1900, Jorge Juan 23 Velázquez, has been completed.


The general director of Alibuilding, José Antonio Izquierdo, has indicated that with the latest sales of the Velázquez 23 development "we closed a milestone for our company that also represents a window to the future. This was our first development in Madrid and it opens up a world of future possibilities for us due to the experience gained, the satisfaction of having created a project that has aroused a lot of interest in the national and international market, and our contribution to the recovery of environments consolidated urban centers in the heart of the cities where we operate”. The senior manager of Alibuilding pointed to Madrid as the main focus of future investments, as part of the promoter's natural market on the Costa Blanca (Alicante).


At the end of 2020, Alibuilding completed the rehabilitation process of this building that once housed the headquarters of Caja España, a 2,548-square-meter building that was converted by the developer into a residential building with eight homes and a commercial space. The rehabilitation was carried out with the preservation of the façade, protected for its architectural and historical value, with a surface area of ​​4,500 square meters.


The result is a historic building, located in the heart of Madrid, on a central patio with a vertical garden with natural plants, with modern, high-performance homes of different types, where the spectacular penthouses stand out. The building also has 450 square meters for parking and storage rooms.

Velázquez 23 was listed as the most exclusive building of the year by experts in the sector in 2022, published in the prestigious magazine 'Elle Decoration', which valued its qualities, its design, location and the care with which its work was done. rehabilitation without losing the hallmarks of the historic building.
The houses have all the comforts, equipped with underfloor heating and cooling, with a modern ventilation system that ensures air renewal, in addition to all the elements in home automation to make it easy to enjoy each of the houses.
