Alibuilding requests 61 new licenses to complete its Polop Hills promotion due to the increase in sales

The level of sales grew by 45% in 2022 compared to the previous year and requires progress in the construction of new units to respond to demand

The Netherlands and Belgium account for 25% of the sales of this single-family housing development located in Polop, a neighboring municipality of Benidorm

Alicante, March 13.- The promoter Alibuilding, belonging to the Aligrupo business holding, has requested a license for the construction of 61 new single-family homes in its Polop Hills development, located in the municipality near Benidorm, to reach the maximum number of planned homes which amounts to 185 in total and respond to the strong demand that it has registered, especially from foreign buyers.

The request for new licenses, which will be added to the current 124, will complete the total project of the 185 planned, responds to a growth in the number of sales that in the past 2022 increased by 45% compared to 2021, in many cases Reaching sales commitments on plan.

This promotion has aroused interest in countries such as the Netherlands and Belgium, which account for more than 25% of sales operations in this promotion. By nationality, the origin of Germany, Poland and France stands out, as well as a percentage of buyers with Spanish nationality.

The general director of Alibuilding, José Antonio Izquierdo, explained that "this promotion has aroused a lot of interest and we have commitments to purchase homes off-plan, which means that we have extended the license request to the total of the promotion, which is 185 homes. An offer that combines a rural environment, close to a reference city like Benidorm, well connected and equipped with elements for teleworking has been the success of Polop Hills”.

Izquierdo estimates that Polop Hills will be sold within the first three quarters of 2023 and delivered in its entirety by mid-2024, all this despite the current situation of rising inflation, rising interest rates that will mean a slowdown in the market, but where the activity on the Costa Blanca, specifically in the Alibuilding development, will not be affected because it is intended for a non-resident market, which is looking for a second residence, as well as those who are trying to find an alternative housing far away of the Ukrainian conflict zone, which affects all neighboring countries.

The general director of Alibuilding has also noticed that there is a large percentage of Central European and Scandinavian residents who seek to settle seasonally in southern countries such as Spain due to the strong economic impact of facing the harsh winters in their country of origin due to the elevation of the price of energy.

New soil in Polop Hills
Alibuilding has a new 28,000 square meter plot located in Sector 3 Plan del Cantal that will allow the current Polop Hills development to grow with new phases, once the current 185 planned homes are finished. In the case of the new land acquired, it will also be used as a single-family home, with a maximum of two floors, and a total buildable area of 9,000 square meters of roof.
