Alibuilding Property Awards

International recognition for the Benidorm Beach skyscraper.

The Alibuilding promotion wins awards for Best High-Rise Residential Building and Best Residential Apartment Design at the International Property Awards

The skyscraper Benidorm Beach, developed by Alibuilding, has won two awards at the International Property Awards Gala, held in London this Thursday, achieving the highest possible score of five stars. Specifically, the promotion received recognition for Best High-Rise Residential Building and Best Residential Apartment Design in Spain. The building was nominated in the European category for Multiple Residential.

The jury evaluated the project as a whole—designed by Chamizo Arquitectos—considering both its execution and the design by the Murcian architects responsible for its creation. This building, located on Benidorm’s Poniente beach, rises up to the 36th floor with 196 apartments. Its structure consists of two interconnected staircases, allowing for residences of varying sizes, all equipped with high-quality materials and spacious layouts, along with premium common areas. Among its distinctive features is the indoor pool located on the 26th floor and a gym on the 27th, in addition to outdoor community spaces.

The CEO of Alibuilding, José Antonio Izquierdo, expressed his "satisfaction in receiving this recognition, which is the result of the work of the entire team and the professionals at Alibuilding." He noted that "the development of this project has been challenging, coinciding with the circumstances of a pandemic, post-pandemic recovery, and the conflict in Ukraine, which complicated every step of its construction."

Now, with the awards in hand, Izquierdo has dedicated "a recognition to the current homeowners of each unit in this building that has been valued and awarded, for their patience and trust, as they too have faced the challenges of carrying out a project of this magnitude, with the level we demanded of ourselves and under very adverse conditions."

Meanwhile, the CEO of Aligrupo, Daniel Torregrosa, the parent company of the developer, stated that "with these three achievements—two awards and the European nomination—we return to Spain with renewed strength to develop the projects we have underway: Alborán in El Campello; Bonalba Green in Mutxamel, Jávea Beach, as well as Polop Hills Nature in Polop, in addition to La Nucía and Finestrat."

The International Property Awards is a competition that evaluates real estate projects worldwide across all continents. Its jury consists of leading figures in various disciplines related to real estate and construction. The awards gala took place in London on October 17. Alibuilding previously received recognition in the 2022 edition of these awards as Best Multiple Residential for its project San Juan Beach (Alicante).
