This new project brings the developer’s portfolio to 640 homes in various locations along the Costa Blanca

Alicante, 28 April. – The Alicante-based developer Alibuilding, part of the Aligrupo holding company, today presented its new residential development, Benidorm Hills, to more than 150 people from 75 estate agents in the Marina Alta region. The presentation of this project, comprising 138 homes on a plot located in the municipality of Finestrat, was led by Alibuilding’s managing director, José Antonio Izquierdo, who outlined the company’s track record over the last decade, which has seen it develop a significant number of projects on the Costa Blanca and in Madrid. 

Currently, with Benidorm Hills, Alibuilding has a total of 640 homes in its portfolio, spread across the Costa Blanca in various developments and at different stages of construction. Izquierdo described Alibuilding as “an Alicante-based property developer that creates residential projects with standards that meet the current demands of buyers, situated in the most attractive locations with the highest market demand”.

The model it has been developing has led to its consolidation in the market and international recognition through the awards received for the Benidorm Beach development, which won two; and San Juan Beach. In 2022, San Juan Beach was named Best Multi-Residential Development; and in 2024, Benidorm Beach won the titles of Best High-Rise Residential Building and Best Residential Apartment Design.

A residential development with a difference

Benidorm Hills is a residential development that stands out from other developments in the area, both in terms of the layout and design of its homes and the range of communal facilities it offers; it is currently awaiting planning permission for the imminent start of construction work.

The development comprises nine blocks, each consisting of a basement, ground floor and two upper floors. There are four or six homes per floor, depending on the size of the block, with two or three bedrooms depending on the type of home. Ground-floor homes will feature a private front garden and direct access from the outside, whilst the penthouses will have a private sun terrace connected via an internal staircase.

The design has been optimised to maximise the views from each home, both towards the sea and towards the development’s communal areas. Benidorm Hills has been designed with a sloping central area, bordered by the buildings of the respective residential blocks, leaving the three swimming pools in the centre, surrounded by a landscaped area and connected by internal paths. These three swimming pools—a leisure pool, a lap pool and a children’s pool—form part of the communal facilities. 

Throughout the development, there will be a gym, a children’s play area and a calisthenics area, as well as specialist facilities such as a climbing wall, a yoga area, and courts for pétanque, padel, table tennis and pickleball.

The lead designers, Pedro Salazar and Natalia Pomares, from the firm GEA Architects, explained that “the internal layout of the development is one of its key features. In fact, we could say that the project focuses on its interior, on that large communal space that acts as the true heart of the development”. The designers of this residential complex have pointed out that “a great deal of attention to detail has been paid to ensure that the landscape is not merely a backdrop, but a daily experience. We wanted every path, every view, every living area and every transition between architecture and vegetation to be designed to promote well-being”.
