BENIDORM HILLS PRIMERA PIEDRA

Alibuilding launches the development of 138 homes in Benidorm Hills with a ground-breaking ceremony

The new residential complex, situated in the Balcón de Finestrat, will be built by the construction firm Novaligepro

Finestrat, 29 October. –  The Benidorm Hills residential complex, developed by Alibuilding in the Balcón de Finestrat area (Finestrat), began construction today with a ceremonial laying of the foundation stone, attended by 130 people from various estate agencies in the Marina Baixa region and the province, as well as company executives, led by its managing director, José Antonio Izquierdo.

The construction company in charge of this project is Novaligepro, which is already carrying out the San Juan Collection (Sant Joan d’Alacant), Polop Hills Nature (Polop) and Bonalba Green (Mutxamel) developments for Alibuilding. This Alicante-based company has 23 years’ experience and is currently headed by Pedro Javier Rabasco.

Benidorm Hills is a development that “represents a residential model distinct from those previously carried out by Alibuilding and uncommon amongst existing developments on the Costa Blanca”, which makes use of the terrain to create a communal space comprising a central terraced strip, where a large landscaped area and communal facilities—such as the various swimming pools and sports and leisure areas—are located”, as Izquierdo explained.

As a whole, the development is divided into nine blocks, each comprising a basement, ground floor and two upper storeys, arranged around a central area. Each floor will comprise four or six homes, with a range of two- and three-bedroom flats. The ground-floor flats will feature a private front garden and direct access from the outside, whilst the penthouses will have a private sun terrace accessed via an internal staircase.

Izquierdo explained, “Alibuilding is a family-run business committed to responsible property development. We are a company that puts a personal touch to every project; we understand that we play a vital role in the development of our region, our society and our cities. We are committed to supporting the local communities where we work, and we feel a sense of belonging to the towns and cities that welcome us.”

For her part, the Director of Marketing and Sales, Ivanova Azócar, explained that “the terrain, as you can probably imagine from here, has been more of an opportunity than a challenge for our designers and architects. This elevated, sloping site has allowed us to design the nine blocks housing the 138 homes on a plot covering 27,396 m²”.

He pointed out that “we see Benidorm Hills as a qualitative leap forward in our development. We are committed to our region. We do not simply build houses, homes or properties. We want to enrich our region, our towns and cities, and provide them with added value on top of what they already possess”.

The design has been conceived to optimise the views from each of the homes, both towards the sea and towards the development’s communal areas. Benidorm Hills has been designed with a sloping central area, flanked by the buildings of the respective residential blocks, with the three swimming pools situated in the centre, surrounded by landscaped gardens and connected by internal footpaths. These three swimming pools – a leisure pool, a lap pool and a children’s pool – form part of the communal facilities on offer. Throughout the development there will be a gym, a children’s play area and a calisthenics area, as well as specialist facilities such as a climbing wall, a yoga area, pétanque, padel, table tennis and pickleball.
