Alibuilding confirms the interest of the United States in its developments on the Costa Blanca

The developer, which is advancing in the final phases of Polop Hills, has formalized the first sales to Americans and is responding to requests from potential North American buyers about the next phases to be developed

The developer has already sold 59% of the last phases of Polop Hills that will finish in 2024

Alicante, November 9.- The developer Alibuilding, belonging to the Aligrupo business holding, has noted the growing interest that its developments on the Costa Blanca arouse in the United States market, where there are already owners in the first phases of Polop Hills ( Polop), a development of 179 single-family homes. Although the percentage of total sales is small, the arrival of the first US citizens confirms the interest in this market, compared to the more traditional countries for the real estate sector, as explained today by the general director, José Antonio Izquierdo.

“Our development is 74% marketed, and the new four phases whose works will be completed throughout 2024 at 59%. In them, although in a very incipient way – but already significantly as a starting point – we have materialized the sale to citizens of the United States,” he commented. Izquierdo also reports that the same phenomenon is occurring in Benidorm Beach, one of the promoter's star developments, whose works have already been completed. “It is not about the volume of sales, which is not high, but about the interest it is awakening and the potential that this market can represent for our future projects,” he clarified.

Polop Hills is made up of single-family homes located in the interior of the Marina Baixa region, a few kilometers from the city of Benidorm (Alicante). The urbanization is located in a natural enclave at the foot of the Ponoig mountain and with views of the Mediterranean Sea on the horizon, just a few kilometers away.
“The United States market, as is the case with other larger ones from Eastern and Northern Europe, values our open housing model, with shared areas, but which combines private spaces well. This Mediterranean combination of having a home with natural light, access to a community and with all the services that a home adapted to environmental requirements demands attracts the attention of the North American buyer,” said the head of Alibuilding.

For Izquierdo, the data indicate that the weight of sales in the case of Polop Hills continues to fall on citizens of the European Union, mainly Holland and Belgium, in addition to traditional ones such as Germany, France and those from the United Kingdom. These have been joined for years by the eastern countries, Poland first and then Ukraine.

"But the arrival and the test we carried out is that, from the other part of the world, in the United States, there is interest in knowing and having a home in this corner of ours that is part of Europe: services, citizen security and quality of life on the Costa Blanca are competing with other more traditional retirement or investment destinations for North Americans such as California or Florida, in their own country, or the coast of Mexico,” says Izquierdo.

Projects on the Costa Blanca
Alibuilding has projects developed in locations such as Calpe, Denia, Alicante and Benidorm. In the latter city, it has homes in the Benidorm Beach development, located on Poniente beach and already converted into part of the skyline of the city, the tourism capital of Spain.

In the coming months, Alibuilding intends to start promotions in Finestrat, new projects in Polop, El Campello, Jávea and Mutxamel. In addition, he has finished his latest projects developed in Madrid.
