The group of people with Down Syndrome has designed the signage and decoration of the common areas of the Benidorm development 

Alicante, June 19, 2024.- The managers of the Alibuilding promoter, belonging to the Aligrupo holding company, José Antonio Izquierdo and Daniel Torregrosa, have received the group of artists integrated into the Assido association, Association for people with Down Syndrome, who have made the decorative ceramics and signage for Benidorm Beach, the first development in Benidorm of 36 floors and 196 apartments overlooking the bay of Benidorm on Poniente Beach. 

In total, there have been 13 people with Down Syndrome who have carried out the entire process of creating, drawing and manufacturing the different ceramic pieces, most of them large format, which are displayed in the common areas of the development: indoor pool, entrance hall, access panel, chill-out area, as well as in the signage of the floors and other services that the residential complex brings together. 
Assido, Association for people with Down Syndrome, is the oldest entity in Spain that cares for these people, which has its headquarters in Murcia. Alibuilding collaborates with Assido in some training and socio-labor programs that allow these people to contribute, due to their sensitivity to projects of this type.

The general director of Alibuilding, José Antonio Izquierdo, expressed his emotion when contemplating the satisfaction of these artists who have been able to verify that their creativity and their work has visible and real results. “We are more than satisfied with this collaboration that is generating a very satisfactory symbiosis between Assido and Alibuilding. The pieces that these people create for us will remain forever in the promotions that we complete. It has already happened in San Juan Beach, now in Benidorm Beach and will continue in the next projects”. 

For his part, the CEO of Aligrupo, Daniel Torregrosa, explained that “the best way to help our society is to try to ensure that everyone has a place in society, a space, a place where they can contribute and where they can be recognized for it. ”. Torregrosa has highlighted that Alibuilding's promotions, in addition to all the comforts, qualities and finishes, have a touch of solidarity, on this occasion with Assido.
